Optical Turnstiles

Optical Turnstiles are the latest innovative development in turnstile technology. Replacing the traditional physical barrier with intelligent microprocessor controlled infrared beams.

Providing unrestricted movement for the authorised users of a facility, whilst providing a high level of security.

Monitoring the passage of every individual entering and leaving a facility, authorised personnel gain entry by presenting an access card to the optical turnstile pedestal, whilst all unauthorised entry attempts are identified and prevented.

The optical turnstile system can accurately detect and prevent access violations including tailgating. The system is designed for use in a reception environment, where reception staff can provide assistance to visitors, allowing the reception staff to perform their duties without the distraction of "badge checking". The optical turnstile system will indicate anyone who attempts entry by tailgating, or by any other illegal method.
